Along with members of Council, I welcome one and all on our Website.

I am convinced that during your visit on our Website, you will find that our Municipality has a lot to offer visitors, investors and people looking for a place to live.

As tourists, you will find here reasons to come visit and even return. Visitors can enjoy delicious meals in our restaurants, walk or jog on our trails, travel by bicycle or ATVs, fish, hunt or camp, travel by canoe or simply relax and enjoy the magnificent scenery offered by our mountains and waterways. Sugarloaf Park, which is within our boundaries, offers ski slopes, cross-country ski trails, mountain bike trails as well as a vast camping ground.

Some visitors come here on account of the warmth of its residents or the charm of the location. We wish the well-being of the families and because of this we offer services that can usually only be found in larger centers.

Atholville is geographically important for its industrial and commercial developments. We are the engine to the economy and commercial activities of the region. This stems from the industrial and commercial character of our Village.

Do not hesitate to share with us your ideas or suggestions concerning our Village.

I am hoping for the opportunity to make your acquaintance or hear from you.

        Michel Soucy

        Mayor
